Job Description

Job Position: Manager – Logistics

Job Location: India – Bhopal (Transferable to Bangalore, Delhi)

Position Summary:
The Manger- Logistics should have excellent project management skills and the ability to navigate the challenges of a Deeptech Agri use-case projects. He must coordinate activities like Building and maintaining relationships with Logistic Partners operating at national and international level preferably in the agricultural commodities sector. The role involves identifying potential Logistic Partners, negotiating agreements and fostering partnerships to enhance the value chain.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage end-to-end operations of logistics, including digital logistic management, and process automation.
    • Identifying potential Logistic Partners, negotiating agreements, and fostering partnerships to enhance the value chain.
    • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs and ensure timely operations.
    • Collaborate with Product and Tech team for proper integration of logistic operational activities.
    • Analyze and make data-driven decisions to optimize logistics operations and solve complex logistics challenges and implement changes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
    • Overseeing the movement of goods, materials, and resources throughout the supply chain.
    • Track and analyze KPI to measure logistics performance.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory
      requirements.

    Requirements

    • B.Tech-Supply chain Management / Logistic Engineering/ Master’s degree in Agribusiness/ Supply Chain Management or a related field. Preferably from A-Grade Institute.
    • 7+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within the agriculture sector.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, best practices and methodologies in areas such as systems integration and optimization.
    • Moderate understanding of Deeptech domain.
    • Capacity to adapt new technology and have digital skills.
    • Strong understanding of agricultural markets, value chains, and pricing dynamics.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and logistic compliance in the Agri industry
    • Willingness to travel to meet Logistic Partners, field, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
