    With our first solution in Agriculture Supply Chain Optimization, KIREAP has already proven to support smallholder farmers in India with improved market connectivity and an increase in revenues. In addition, KIREAP’s remote sensing solution supports Insurers and Governments with fraud prevention while farmers benefit from faster claim processing. For that purpose, KIREAP is growing in Italy and is in the process of setting up a joint venture with a renowned international reinsurer. In 2026 KIREAP Italy will conduct a pilot until mid-year and subsequently secures and delivers on commercial contracts.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The candidate will represent KIREAP in Italy as part of the Joint Venture. The aim is to successfully complete the pilot and secure/deliver on follow up commercial contracts. For this purpose, the candidate will:

    • Be the representative of KIREAP in Italy and build relations to government, Farmers associations and industry partners
    • Be the business lead for the successful completion of the pilot project, in collaboration with the Head of Remote Sensing and Head of International Expansion
    • Ensure transparent, compliant and efficient JV operations on behalf of KIREAP on the ground in Italy, and be the bridge to the Headquarters
    • Secure a follow up commercial contract

    Ideal Candidate Profile

      • Strong farming/agri background
      • Proven government facing experience in Italy
      • Commercial leadership track record
      • Interest in emerging technologies

      Qualifications

        • Graduate / Master’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Preferably from Premier Institute.

        Compensation & Growth Plan

        The role includes a fixed salary for the initial six months of the pilot, with a significant success-based component tied to securing follow-up commercial contracts. As KIREAP is planning to setup a standalone entity in Italy for offerings outside of the insurance industry, such as Agriculture Supply Chain Optimization, the candidate will be given the opportunity to become the Managing Director, depending on performance.
